Whether you are new to agility, have
never done agility, have done it somewhat and forgotten most,
have done an introduction at Four Paws Kingdom, are interested
in agility but “afraid” of the commitment, are looking for
a new sport you and your canine companion can enjoy, want to
get away for a weekend and have lots of fun...
If any or all of the above is true for
you, well, this is definitely your event!
We’ll start with a two hour session
early on
Saturday morning explaining obstacles, showing basic moves,
explaining how to safely guide your dog over obstacles,
familiarize you and your dog with the course and much more…
After that you’ll have time to relax,
reflect on the newly learned material and get ready for the
afternoon session:
Another two hours of
intense one-on-one training
and try-outs, fun exercises and practice, practice,
practice…
We’ll end the day with a get-together
at the pavilion where we meet the fellow campers for a hearty
meal at the potluck and make full use of bragging rights!
Sunday!
Up, up and away, time for another two
hours of training, treats and topics.
We’ll rehearse our newly learned
skills, sharpen our performance and laugh when all goes wrong.
After all, it’s a Beginners Boot Camp and not the try-outs
for the Olympic Games.
Sounds like fun? Well, we are sure it’s
gonna be. Our resident trainer Birgit and her trusted
companion and agility champion Schroeder can’t wait to meet
all 16 of you soon.
Oh, did I forgot to mention… we need at
least five couples (one human/ one furry contestant) and a
maximum of 8 “couples”. I think you’ve got the point.
So, space is limited and first come is
first serve. This Boot Camp welcomes all healthy dogs whether
pure bred or mixed breeds.
The cost for this two day event is
$100.00 per human/canine team and includes all training
sessions plus a specially designed Boot Camp T-Shirt (so you can brag at home).
