We were impressed with how nicely everything is done and you are right about the showers…they are state of the art!
I have been to some campgrounds were I chose not to bath for two days because the bath house was so dirty and scummy.

Little Remi enjoyed learning about the great place
Stuart and I kept telling him stories about. I appreciated
your Thanksgiving message but.....I was hoping to hear results
from your recent adventures at your Nationals. Did you
have a good time and enjoyed yourself - no matter how nervous
your Hooman got. Aren't they so silly. We just want to
have fun and good suggles at the end of the day!

Meik, Brigit, Schroeder and Lucy,
Well, the first week back at work was hard. And,
starting my vacation at 4 Paws was just AWESOME! I
called Sue when I got back home to thank her immensely for
telling me about your site. I really do like 'CITY
CAMPING". And, Nicky really had such a blast.
We definitely will be seeing you all 2-3 times a year!
I still need to return your video and will try to remember to
do that this weekend.
In addition, please note next time we come, we have a new
addition (Nicky's half sister).... got last week and her name
is Maeghan.
Again, thank you for a great relaxing time.

We just wanted to say Thank you
for such a nice vacation. We will be coming back next year
(but with just a couple of our pack). Lily wanted to tell
you that she knows that she is a great fisherman since she
caught that piece of drift wood in the lake and found
the duck. Everyone enjoy the beautiful campground,
and we will make reservation for next October when we
plan our next vacation.

Hi Birgit, Meik, Schroeder, and Lucy,
I’ve been meaning to e-mail since I got back from the trip to Four Paws, but have been busy getting back in the grind of going to work, etc.
Just wanted to say thanks for another great time! Molly had a wonderful time at the pond (again) and even started swimming after the ball this time. And I think she enjoyed the “sausage bobbing” also—even if she did come in second. (Of course, when I realized the winning “dog parents” were going to have to do their own sausage bobbing Saturday night, I was kind of glad she didn’t win. LOL!)
As for the “hooman” activities, Oktoberfest was wonderful! The food was excellent and the entertainment and games were great. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into everything.
I got my newsletter today and enjoyed looking at the slideshow. I took quite a few pictures of my own of our week there and of Oktoberfest—even a few videos with sound. You can see them here:
I’ve been busily studying the 2009 schedule since the last newsletter. There are so many great activities planned that it’s hard to choose!! I think my first choice is the Dog Festival in early May. Hope to be able to make at least 3 trips next year!

As soon as I took one lap around the playground I made my
Hoomans book up for the event, and also for Thanksgiving -- I
don't want to miss the "Turkey"!!

Comments: We stayed 3 nights in the Hornet Travel trailer in
August - I used my $25.00 Walmart gift card today - thanks
again. The trailer was very clean and kitchen well equipped.
In fact, the entire campground including bath house, laundry
room, were very clean. There is lots for the dogs to do. It's
almost a 5 hour drive for us and Fritz, our miniature
schnauzer, was still tired even after the long car ride home.

I just wanted to say thank you for
a wonderful weekend. Ronnie and I truly enjoyed
ourselves, but I believe Blue and Cade were the real winners.
The campground was wonderful. I am still amazed at the
bath house and how clean and nice they were. We have
camped a lot of places and these were by far the best I have
ever seen. The swimming and fishing pond was just great
as well. I enjoyed the hike on the trail and the views
from the top were fantastic. We will be back again.
The two of you have done a wonderful job with your land and we
thank you for sharing it with us.

Comments: Danny and I had a great time. Jack especially liked running into and out of the creek at Linus Creek Park. Jack and Lucy both enjoyed the hiking trail and just being able to adventure lease-free in the designated areas. Lucy is not much of a water girl, so she was not as thrilled as Jack about the baths after play. Jack loved it!
The cabin amenities are just right. And your hospitality made us feel very welcome, especially our Jack and Lucy around your Schroeder and Lucy.

Thanks so much for making our Casita rally a huge success. Everyone had a great time but we knew already that they would. Having you both as such fantastic hosts visitors can't go away without knowing they were give special care and hospitality from you both.
Lane wrote a very great review on our Casita site which only affirmed what we have been trying to get across to so many. He wrote"
Dogs? What dogs?I seldom heard them and I travel with two. A really great rally, still in progress, Ice Cream Social and Italian Pot Luck on the schedule for tonight, along with a campfire and lots of good discussion. (Who knew you could put a waterbed in a Casita?) Need a sponsor for next year's June Jump-Up (Actually not really a sponsor, just somebody to step up and say, "Yeah, I can coordinate that!"). Clearly this is a dog focused RV Park. Lots of neat things for dogs to do, safely, inside a fence so they can't run off if they get their feelings hurt. Other than the occasional dog being walked, quietly, past the trailers, you'd never guess that many of the attendees have a dog with them. It's just a very nice campground with full hook-ups, not far from a small town with a choice of supermarkets (Where else do you think I found the Lasagna for the Italian Pot Luck?}, gas stations, and even my favorite chain restaurant - McDonald's. Lots of trees, plenty of grass, graveled sites, picnic tables, a pavilion, showers, toilets. First

go. Lane and the Poodle Girls who were so exhausted from playing chase-em yesterday that they collapsed on the bed.

Hey Schroeder & Lucy, this is Blackie letting you know that me and the hoomans really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Before the hoomans got me, they would stay in the cabin at the KOA's, but they will not allow pets. So my hoomans really loved your cabin, because they have so much more in them than the KOA cabins do, and they let me stay with them! I really loved all of the new and different smells, relaxing, my bath, and meeting all of you and all of the hoomans. My hoomans tell me that we are coming back again sometime, but not sure when right now. So in the meantime, hope you all enjoy your summer! By the way, I am now one year old, as of May 29th. My hoomans gave me a birthday party and invited three other dogs plus lots of hoomans. I had so much fun and was ready to take a nap after it was all over with! Especially after filling up on some peanut butter birthday cake, that was in the shape of a bone! I wish I could have shared some of it with you Schroeder and Lucy! You would have loved it! Anyway, that's it for now. Take care and hope to see you again sometime.

Just wanted to thank you for another great time at 4 Paws. Every time we
come up you guys are just doing more and more to make things so nice there. As
usual Madison really enjoyed her favorite spot at the pond.
She did manage to find a few remnants of old toys scattered about the
bushes. Maybe you will consider doing a doggie Easter egg hunt there someday. That
would be fun.
We still need to make reservations for Labor Day but we are waiting to see
how many extra days we can get away from work. We will check back with you as
soon as possible.

What a wonderful weekend we had at your camp! Bogey and Dovey are still
exhausted. I took these pictures at the Rib Fest and I also took some
pictures of Bogey and Dovey getting their baths before we left. You said

Birgit, I am the Canadian girl (Kathy McConnell) with the 2 shelties (Corbin & Casey) who promised to email some pictures of the dogs that I took while visiting your lovely park for the first 2 weeks in April. Choose whichever one you like best for your poster board at the office. The boys REALLY got spoiled there, for the rest of the parks we visited on our way home, they had to be on leash all the time. Thank you for making our stay the most enjoyable experience that we have had with our dogs. Lucy and Schroeder were lovely part-time playmates when they weren't 'on duty' at the office.
