Join us as we celebrate our country's independence AND the dog days of summer with some fires, beer and food!
We will be doing a beer and cider swap meet! Bring your favorite beers and ciders to the Pavilion to put in one of our iced coolers so that other people can try it. Take the same number of beers out and you are good to go! If you have great brews in your area, please bring us something local to try out! The Southeast has a huge number of small breweries and we love to support them.
FRIDAY
5:30 PM Meet and Greet at Community Firepit . We’ll practice social distancing while still being social! Bring a beverage to enjoy and we'll provide pup-treats!
SATURDAY
9:00 AM - Agility Demonstration and tips with Beverly and Roo at the Agility Park.* Free! Come up and watch a champion agility pair in action in our Agility park and learn some tips along the way. Beverly will also be available for individual training throughout the weekend by appointment.
10:00 AM - Lure Coursing at the Games Field.* Free and first-come-first-play!
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM - Smoothies and Lattes at the Pavilion. We will be preparing a variety of Lattes, Smoothies and Frappes in the food truck at the pavilion. Stop on by – the Smoothies and Frappes are $6 each and the Lattes are $5. All are made to order.
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Cornhole Games at our Cornhole Area.* We have 2 sets of cornhole boards just down from the 4PK Office. Come on down to take part or be part of the peanut gallery!
4:00 PM - Site Decorating Contest.* Who will have the most festive Independence Day site decorations? We will have a contest to determine the best decorated site AND the best decorated "family". The winners will be selected by your fellow guests and we will offer First Prize and Second Prize. To judge the contest, meet at the Pavilion just before 4:00 to pick up your voting materials and we’ll walk the park.
5:00 PM - 6:16 PM - Beer Swap Meet at the Pavilion. Bring a 6-pack (or whatever) of your favorite local brews and swap for other people's favorites. We will provide the coolers and ice, you provide the beer. For every one you give, you get to take one out. Come as close as you can to 5:00 to get your pick of the suds.
5:00 PM - 6:15 PM – Bottomless Dogs at the Pavilion. $12.99 for ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT hot dogs and chips! We will grill up some hot dogs to go with your own (or someone else's) beer! Dinner will also include potato chips and our special patriotic Red, White & Blue Shortcake. Sign-ups are at 4PK Hot Dog Dinner and are required no later than Wednesday, June 28.
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM - Guy Meets Girl at the Pavilion. We welcome back this great duet who also happen to be full-time RVers! This couple has performed a variety of over 250 gigs, but most notably, opening for Keith Urban at Country Thunder in Wisconsin, O-Town in Chicago, and Drake Bell on Valentines Day. They perform a large variety of personalized covers from artists like Maroon 5, The Script, Amy Winehouse, The Lumineers, Stevie Wonder, Third Eye Blind, Bruno Mars, Tori Kelly, Allen Stone, Tom Petty, and John Mayer with unique percussion, a looper pedal, and an acoustic guitar. They also love to share their original songs that tell their stories and experiences in a creative and ear-catching way.
