That depends, for all large RV's, Motor Homes, large 5th wheels etc. we strongly encourage you to use our "big rig friendly" directions
and refrain from using GPS units or online services e.g. mapquest).

I would just like to come and see the place. Can I just ride around and look at everything?

During our opening season, we gladly show you around, provided that you stop at the campground office first,
get a map and register as a "sight-seer". Please do not ride around without checking in with us or you are trespassing.
The campground is closed for the "Dog Days of Summer" July 29 - August 23, 2013 and during this time, we are not accepting
visitations of any kind.

What RV sizes can you accommodate?

Our sites - ranging from 50 - 110 feet in length - are designed to accommodate almost* almost any size RV.
We feature 30 and 50 AMP and many sites  have room for double, triple or even quadruple slide-outs.

*Class A Motorhomes 43 - 45 feet and 5th wheels larger than 38 feet, please call ahead for space availability and additional information.

Can I see pictures of your sites?

Of course!   Go here for our RV sitesour cabins and rental trailers!

Can I make a reservation for a specific site?

Yes, you can, and we will try to meet your request(s) (depending on the size and AMP requirements of your RV's).
However, if a camper. who has the site occupied prior to your arrival decides to extend his stay, we will not move him off the site.
If you ever decide to extend your stay, we will extend you the same courtesy.
Should your desired site become unavailable, we will contact you and offer you a similar site or if you chose to do so, you can pick the best site available upon your arrival.

Yes, we accommodate pop-up's on regular RV sites. Sorry, no tents!

We do honor the following club memberships with a 10% discount for RV sites on  our nightly rate: Good Sam, AAA, KOA and AARP.
We also honor Escapees and FMCA when presented with a valid membership card.

Have you got internet and/or modem access?

Yes, we have complementary DSL based high-speed internet onsite WiFi access throughout the campground.
Please note: Our free Internet service is a shared resource and we use a computer based system to evenly distribute bandwidth to our users. The system is designed for email and web browsing only. Extensive use of High bandwidth applications like Skype, VoIP or streaming video will automatically trigger a temporary 12 hour suspension. Please be considerate and help us to provide all campers with equal Internet use.

Is there a car rental station nearby?

There are several rental stations in our area. Just send a blank email to
rentalcars/@/4pawskingdom.com and we will send you a list. (remove "//" before sending)

What's the deal with fire rings and BBQ's?

By order of the Rutherford County fire marshal individual, open campfires are only allowed in fire rings on designated campsites. A special burn permit (free) has to be obtained at the campground office. (above ground BBQ grills, fireplaces and gas fireplaces are OK on all sites). We also provide a custom build fire and BBQ place for all to enjoy. Collection of wood, dead, down, or otherwise, from the campsites, forest areas, flower beds or banks of the creeks or other places on our property is strictly prohibited,

For your convenience, we are delivering boxes of firewood for $5.00 bundle directly to your campsite. All vegetation, living and dead, is for shade, bank stabilization, erosion control, natural decomposition and natural habitat. With several thousand camper nights per year, the environment simply cannot withstand guest collection of wood for fires or for any other reason.

NOTE: If a state imposed burn ban is in effect, the rules described above are overridden and campfires of any kind are prohibited (above ground BBQ grills and gas fireplaces are OK on all sites).

Can I watch TV and will my cell phone and 3G card be working?

Yes, we do have park cable TV hookup at every site providing you with 12 channels (major networks as well as an assortment of other popular stations including CNN and Animal Planet). At this point VERIZON wireless phone or Straighttalk (CDMA) are the only carriers working on our premises (depending on your phone models) AT&T and others may work in certain areas around the campground entrance.

Campers have reported that Verizon and some AT&T 3G wireless cards work on the campground.
No 4G service , Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile or AllTel service!

Can I set-up a park model or RV on a seasonal basis?

We are sorry, but at this point "Four Paws Kingdom" can only be booked on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

You are dog-friendly, does that mean my dog can run free all the time?

Although "Four Paws Kingdom" is a place for people and pets alike, there are certain rules we have to establish. For insurance reasons, all dogs have to be on a leash when outside of the designated "dog facilities" like "doggy playground", "agility ring", "dog park" etc. Dogs will also have to be indoors (in your camper) overnight and while the owners are gone (shopping, sight-seeing etc.)

Do I have to bring a dog to stay with you?

Four Paws Kingdom was designed as a full service campground with plenty of dog amenities to make it a safe and enjoyable place for people with and without dogs. It helps however to like dogs because 90% of our campers bring their pets and our activities and service offerings are geared to this target group.

What excitements do you offer for my two legged kids?

Four Paws Kingdom caters exclusively to adults and their canine companions.
As a courtesy, we welcome young adults,  14 years or older (when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)
as well as infants and toddlers up to 2 years of age.

We are not a traditional “family campground” and we are not catering to families and/or campers with kids. We are very upfront about that. Four Paws Kingdom was designed as a safe and enjoyable place for all people who want to camp, play, hike, train or relax with their dogs. We do not advertise or market ourselves as a “Family Campground”, we always were and still are the first and only dog dedicated campground in the US and that’s what our guests love about us. All of our amenities and activities are specifically geared towards an adult target group. Scheduled events (whether for fun or sports) as well as functions (potlucks, catered dinners, quizzes, seminars, training sessions etc.) are directed towards a mature audience.

Are you offering a "dog-walking" service for pet owners going on a day-trip?

Yes, we are offering to take your dog for a "potty walk" for a fee ($10 first dog / $5.00 each addt'l dog)

Can all pets visit "Four Paws Kingdom" or is it only open to dog owners?

Although "Four Paws Kingdom" is designed for people traveling with dogs, other pets like cats, ferrets, parakeets, iguanas, rabbits and more are also welcome. We will however have to limit the use of facilities to well behaved pets regardless of breed.

We would like to have a Rally or meeting with our dog club at your place, can you accommodate us?

Yes, we are always looking forward to host Rallies, special events, meetings or get-togethers. You can rent the whole place or just some sites. You can book the doggie playgrounds, the agility field, the pavilion, the pond or all of the above, Four Paws Kingdom will always try to meet your specific needs. Just call or email us and we help you to make it happen!

How can I help the "Four Paws Kingdom Foundation"?

We are always happy for donations and/or help regarding our non-profit educational foundation. Please read more about us at this link  http://www.fourpawskingdomfoundation.org
